Hi...My name is Carl Riley and I would like to take the time to tell you about myself and why I decided to become a pike guide,I was born in norfolk in 1973 and as soon as I was old enough to hold a rod I was hooked into the fishing world,I fished for various species,Carp,Bream ect then I was introduced to the broads when my family moved to Norwich in 1986.

This is when I found Esox,a fantastic fish,I can tell you my interest in other species soon vanished and I made these fish my main quarry and decided to study hard the habits and habitats of the fish on the broads trying new baits,new techniques..anything to produce the one I was waiting for,after getting to know the broads inside out I have managed to pull out various numbers of 20's and 30's and each fish was as much pleasure to catch as the last,I never get tired of fishing for these great creatures...Well now I thought it's time to share my 20 years of knowledge and experience of fishing for pike on the broads and give other people the chance to feel the might of these fish and enjoy the sights the broads has to offer.
